Investor Immigration

This option is a creation of the Canadian government to attract wealthy individual to make huge capital investments in the Canadian economy. Their investment grows the economy in exchange for permanent residency for them and their families if they meet a few conditions.

Entrepreneur Immigration

Foreign individuals with a specified minimum net-worth and of entrepreneurship character but must be willing to own and manage a business in Canada. This is aimed at growing the economy and employment creation for Canadians. Their immediate family can apply for PR.

Self-Employed Immigration

Through this program, foreigners can apply for permanent residency if they can become self-employed person in Canada. Several conditions needs to be met to be qualified. These self-employed individuals are often experienced in certain trades and professions to be eligible.

Start-up Visa Program

The start-up visa program is to attract entrepreneurs who want to start a business in Canada. Qualification requires meeting 4 eligibility requirements, as well as the admissibility requirements. Successful applicants are linked with private sector organizations in Canada who are able to provide funding as well as guidance.

Provincial Nominee

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is for workers who posses the skills, education and work experience to contribute to the economy of a specific province or territory. They must show they want to live in that province, and want to become permanent residents of Canada. Each program may have other immigration programs as well.

Business Visitors

This is to attend conferences, etc; Buying Canadian goods or services on behalf of a foreign entity; Taking orders; Providing after-sales service, excluding hands-on work in construction; Being trained by a Canadian parent company for work outside of Canada; and Training employees of a Canadian subsidiary of a foreign company.

Quebec Investor Program

Legally acquired personal net worth of $2 million; The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program does not require applicants to actively manage a business in the province, but must invest $1.2 million into a prescribed investment. They and their family can get permanent residency if they reside in the province.

Quebec Entrepreneur Program

The Quebec Entrepreneur category of Canadian immigration was designed to allow qualified business owners the opportunity to obtain Canadian permanent residence, provided that they can effectively create or acquire an agricultural, commercial or industrial business in the province of Quebec, Canada.

QC. Self-Employed Category

Quebec Self-Employed category of Canadian immigration was designed to allow qualified individuals the opportunity to obtain Canadian permanent residence provided that they can effectively establish themselves in the Province of Quebec by practicing a trade or profession for their own account.

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program

Through this program, applicants with the skills and experience targeted by the province may receive a Saskatchewan provincial nomination certificate, after which they can apply for Canadian permanent residence with IRCC. Applications are accepted for International Skilled Worker, Int'l Graduate, Experience, Entrepreneur and Farm.

British Columbia’s Provincial Nominee Program

This British Columbia’s Nominee Program has three streams aimed at entrepreneurs. The first is Entrepreneur Immigration streams which requires a networth of $600,000. The Entrepreneur Regional Pilot requires a net worth of $300,000. And the third is the Strategic Projects stream for companies to establish an eligible business
in Province.

Manitoba's Farm Investor Pathway

The Farm Investor Pathway (FIP) is for individuals with proven farm business experience, sufficient available capital to invest, and who intend to establish and operate a farm operation in rural Manitoba. Applicants output from the farm must be consistent with the province’s current farm industry. Manitoba is one of the three prairie provinces.

Alberta Self Employed Farmer Stream

Alberta is a great place to start a business. Though it is home the world’s 3rd most liveable city, Calgary, Alberta’s farmlands are where your investment options truly lie. The province is Canada’s second largest agricultural producer and it’s diverse landscapes make the land perfect for crop production, livestock production and much more. Currently, there is only one Investment Visa option available in Alberta - the Self Employed Farmer Stream.

Newfoundland and Labrador Small business enterprises

New businesses flourish in the province due to having the lowest operating costs in Canada and the U.S., for this reason, and many others, New Brunswick’s capital city, Fredericton, won startup community of the year in 2016. To start your business in New Brunswick, you will have to meet the requirements for either the Entrepreneurial Stream or the Post-Graduate Entrepreneurial Stream.

New Brunswick Entrepreneurial Stream Your business must have a real eligible connection to the province. You must be between 22 and 55 years old. You must have reached Canadian Language Benchmark level 5 or higher in all four categories of the test in either French or English. You must have finished at least two years of tertiary education after completing high school. Your personal net worth must be verified and it should be a minimum of $600,000 CAD. During the past 5 years you must have at least 3 years of work experience in managing and owning at least 33.3% of a business or you must have 5 consecutive years of work experience in a senior business management role. You need to have the intention of living in the province permanently while owning and managing your local business. You must be able to make a minimum investment of at least $250,000 CAD in starting your business.

Prince Edward Island Work Permit

Prince Edward Island Prince Edward Island (PEI) may be Canada’s smallest province, but its potential for business and economic growth knows no bounds. As one of the Maritime provinces, PEI is largely affected by the aging workforce that is sweeping the nation. For this reason, the province has turned to immigrants, specifically foreign entrepreneurs and investors, to help build the already growing economy. The Government of PEI, recognizing the importance of new business development, offers many supportive initiatives, like the Ignition Fund, to entrepreneurs looking to start a new business in the province.
